Miguel Farriol started his studies of graphic
design and photography in Elisava School of Barcelona in
1970. He took part in ICSD design competition in the Port
of San Miguel and discovered Ibiza. Something changed deeply
inside him when he decided to return to the island after
three years working as a free-lance graphic designer.
He started and stablished a little agricultural
farm with some friends, which produced enough fruits and
vegetables to have a stall at the farmers market. Ferriol
learnt from the earth the cultivation of flowers and their
needs. He combined the hoe with the brushes and he exposed
his paintings in ´some exhibition galleries in Ibiza.
His artistic and gardening training rule over
the philosophy of work to explain the space, light and colour
with creativity trade and responsability.
